Molding: Step by Step polymer clay molding instructions:
Molding: Step by Step Paper Clay molding instructions:
Molding: Step by Step UTEE molding instructions:
To demold, slightly flex the mold while using your thumbs to pull the part loose around all sides. Gently push up on the molded part from the bottom as you flex the mold to lift or tip the part from the mold.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. 6 x 6 inch shadow box — If needed, paint or stain the box to match your design. Shadow box shown was finished when purchased.

  2. Mold the following with air dry clay (3) three — Deco Pin, one each F-I, F-2, F-3 and (2) two Deco Drops.
        a. On one of the Deco Pins you will need to push a flower eyelet into wet clay (you do not need to glue the eyelet after the clay dries as it will stay in place) pierce two holes in center of eyelets. While this part is still wet, cut a small “V” in top where two “head dresses” will meet.
        b. In both of the Deco Drops pierce a small hole through which wires will be threaded when dry.

  3. Using Clear UTEE (Note: clear UTEE will turn Amber in color the longer it is heated in the Melting Pot.), mold one each of F-1, F-2, F-3
       a. Pour UTEE into molds only after it is completely melted. (Use CAUTION: Melted UTEE is VERY HOT). Let the parts cool completely before removing them from mold.
       b. After the UTEE is completely cool, remove the parts from mold. They are ready to use as is or you may embellish them with rub-on ink etc.

  4. Paint all Paper Clay faces and Deco Pin using Twinkling H20’s; as shown.

  5. Deco Pin with eyelets: Cut two wires (any gauge or color) about 2 1/2” long. Wrap each wire into an eyelet in the Deco Pin and then into the hole on a Deco drop. Secure the wire with a twist.

  6. Cut a piece of Black cardstock to 6” x 6”.

  7. Arrange embellishments, paper clay molded parts, and the UTEE molded parts in a pleasing manner and adhere to the black cardstock with the fibers in the background.

  8. Cut three tags with the words "playful", "loving" and "smiling" either stamped or printed on them. Use brads to attach them to the cardstock.

  9. Place your masterpiece into a shadow box and display.
