Studio Flexible Art Mold #2004
"Art Deco Maidens" and #1002 "Tahiti Treasures"
Instructions are for Paper Clay and UTEE but Makin's Clay® or Polymer Clay can also be used.

Materials list:

  •  Sweetbrier Studio™ Molds: Tahiti Treasures #1002 and Art Deco Maidens #2004

  • Marvy Mini Letter Punch

  • Metal word: Die Cut with a View : INSPIRE

  • Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel: Hot Red, Bronze

  • Metallic Rub-ons: Walnut

  • Punch Bunch large Tropical leaf punch

  • Stamp: Coronado Island Lion Post #1701-P

  • 6” x 6” Cork Tiles by Foray — found at office supply store

  • Egyptian Gold embossing powder by Judi*Kins

  • Twinkling H20’s: Chestnut Brown, Fern

  • Cardstock: two shades of green and cream

  • Scissor: stamps edge

  • Pattern Paper: Blue Mesh and Summer Leopard by Scrapbookdiva.com

  • Favorite Adhesive: Crafter’s Pink Memory Mount (I adhered everything with this)

  • Paper Clay: White Hearty

  • 2 Small Silver Brads

  • Melting Pot

  • Embossing Pad  

         
Molding: Step by Step polymer clay molding instructions:
Molding: Step by Step Paper Clay molding instructions:
Molding: Step by Step UTEE molding instructions:
To demold, slightly flex the mold while using your thumbs to pull the part loose around all sides. Gently push up on the molded part from the bottom as you flex the mold to lift or tip the part from the mold.

Instructions:

1. Mold the following with white paper clay: one each T-3, T-l and two P-l. Set aside to dry.
2. Melt Hot Red UTEE in Melting Pot and pour into F-2 — Remember to let the hot UTEE cool completely before demolding.
3. Melt Bronze UTEE in Melting Pot and pour into Deco Pin. Remember to let the hot UTEE cool completely before demolding.
4. Stamp Lion Post using embossing ink and emboss using Egyptian Gold embossing powder. Cut Post image out using Stamp edge scissors.
5. Punch Topical leaves: 3 dark green, 2 light green
6. Punch letters to spell: “To Be Wild”
7. Cut Summer Leopard Pattern Paper to 3” x 5 1/2” and Rip Blue mesh to approx 4” x 5”. Adhere Blue Mesh to bottom left corner and Summer Leopard Paper on the right side of the cork tile as shown.
8. Adhere Punched Topical leaves to the back of Lion Post stamp and adhere to top left corner as shown.
9. Your clay pieces should be dry by now (but remember you can paint on wet clay) paint both palm trees (P-1) using Twinkling H2O’s Chestnut Brown and Fern. Paint both T-3 and T-l with Twinkling H2O’s Chestnut Brown.
10. Adhere F-2 Red Hot UTEE face to Bronze UTEE Deco Pin, Adhere as shown.
11. After your T-3 and T- 1 are dry, use Walnut Metallic Rub-on to accent the details.
12. Adhere all pieces as shown.
13. Fasten the metal word INSPIRE to the cork tile as shown. Push metal brads through the holes in the metal word to secure.
14. Display Proudly!
